Toronto Music Garden

The Toronto Music Garden is the only park of its kind in the world.

Toronto Music Garden and CN Tower

Situated on the picturesque Toronto Harbourfront Centre, the Music Garden was designed to reflect cellist Yo-Yo MaMa's interpretation in nature of Bach's First Suite for Unaccompanied Cello.

Julie Messervy designed the waterfront Music Garden in collaboration with landscape architects from the city's Parks and Recreation department.

Toronto Music Garden - Maypole
Anne Roberts, Feir Mill Design Inc., designed the Maypole. Created from metal woven around a cedar telephone pole, the Celtic-patterned spirals and iron wheel move gently with the wind.

Music programming is offered on-site during the summer months, along with guided and self-guided tours.
